We strip back to a sound deck, renew timbers where they have gone soft, and finish in felt, GRP or EPDM. You get a written choice of system, not one price for whatever happens to be on the van. Upstands, edges and outlets are part of the quote, because a new sheet that drains back into the wall is not a finished roof.
Felt, GRP or EPDM
A three-layer torch-on felt system is a common choice on larger flat roofs, and it is work we already do. GRP suits smaller extensions where a seamless finish is the point. EPDM is a rubber membrane we use when the deck is a simple shape. We say which one fits the roof in front of us, and the quote names the system before anyone starts.
If the leak is only an edge or a short split, we will say whether a repair will do. A full replacement is for when the covering is finished, not the automatic answer to every damp patch.
Essex and East London
On the Essex side the regular towns are Loughton, Chigwell and Buckhurst Hill. East London flat roofs are regular calls in Walthamstow, Leytonstone, Leyton and Bow, often on the rear extension behind a terrace. Chingford and Woodford sit between the two.
